About Department

The Department, headed by Assistant Professors who are experts in their own disciplines, aims at educating and training students with sound knowledge and awareness in the latest trends in Electronics & Communication.
The Department has an ardent ambiance to channelize the effort of students and enhance their technical skills. The department courses are composed of subjects giving extensive coverage to basic principles and exposing students to both theoretical concepts and practical aspects.

Message from Head of Department

Head of DepartmentA warm and affectionate welcome from the Department of the Electronics and Communication (E&C) Engineering at S. N. Patel Institute of Technology and Research Centre, Umrakh.
Electronics Engineering is a constantly changing and widening branch of the engineering profession having applications in every discipline of engineering including consumer electronics, telecommunications, diagnostics and treatment devices for medicine, audio and video, control, computing, data storage and retrieval, photography, measurement and metrology equipment, aviation and avionics and early warning and radar.
Our department has a fine blend of a team of well qualified and experienced faculties and staff members. We are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. The Department is equipped with state of art Laboratories. The lab facilities are being upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for the students to learn and innovate. The Department is fully equipped with all the labs required for the curriculum like Analog Electronics lab, Logic Design lab, Microcontroller lab, Power Electronics lab, Electronics Devices and circuit Lab, Microprocessor and Digital Communication lab, Communication Lab and Simulation lab.
All of the top achievers I know are life-long learners, looking for new skills, insights and ideas. I am certain that our students will prove to be an invaluable asset to an organization.
